Welcome to FBC Women’s Ministry!
The heart of our ministry for women is Bible study. Through encouraging Bible study our prayer is that women will fall more in-love with Christ and allow Him to shape them into the godly women He desires them to be. We long for women to see Jesus for Who He is, worship Him as He longs to be worshiped, discover His plan for their lives, and learn to use their God-given gifts to serve others! Ultimately, we pray that the women here will have an everlasting impact in their homes and in our communities for the kingdom of God! It is important for women to feel “plugged in” - in our church and in our community - and here at First Baptist we have a place just for you! Meeting together weekly for Bible study is a wonderful way for women to connect with other women who share interests and goals! And… you do not have to be a member of FBC in order to register for our Bible studies. These studies are opened to all women in our church family as well as to all women in our community. We do offer child care during our studies so everyone is able to participate!

A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place by Beth Moore
“Discover the parallels of the Tabernacle’s building and your life as a chosen vessel of God…Taken primarily from the Book of Exodus, A Woman’s Heart: God’s Dwelling Place by Beth Moore will take you on a fascinating journey into why God would chose to live in a wilderness tabernacle, made by human hands.” (LifeWay)
This 11 week study is offered Thursdays 9:30 am & 6:00 pm. Child care is available with pre-registration. You may register for this study at the Welcome Center or by calling the church office (704) 739-3651.
Cost: $16/workbook
Childcare: $5/child (paid once per study, not per session)
Facilitators: Amy Seaward (am class) and Lori Wilbanks (pm class)
* We follow the Cleveland County School schedule. If Bible study day falls on a day that school is out, we will not meet on that day (this includes inclement weather days). The study calendar for the remaining of the school year will be updated soon!

“Hiding Place… a day to deFrazzle”
Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 9am – 2pm
A day for women (18 year and older) to spend renewing their spirits as they come together to fellowhip, worship, and experience a fresh encounter with God
Featuring Speaker/Author, Cindi Wood and Worship Leader/Songwriter, Gwen Smith
Light breakfast and lunch provided
Tickets $20 per person
Held at FBC Kings Mountain (Worship Center and Christian Ministry Center)

About Cindi Wood…
Author of Frazzled Female, Too Blessed For This Mess, and many others, Cindi is a highly sought after and gifted speaker who teaches women how to creatively manage the stresses of life. With insights and humor, her teachings point participants to the vibrant love that is experienced as you hear from God through Bible study and spending time with Him. Cindi believes God is pursuing a love relationship with each of His children, and that He has specific designs for each of us as we go about our daily living. As a gifted worship leader and songwriter, Gwen’s passion is God and her purpose is to lead others to His presence through music that reveres and illuminates Jesus Christ. Gwen has an amazing ability to take a room full of people and unite their souls in an unforgettable worship experience. Also a speaker and author, Gwen is the co-founder of Girlfriends In God, Inc. She loves to laugh, yet also loves to dig deep into the transforming truths of God’s Word. She is a true worshiper who lives out daily what she leads on stage.
